His Excellency Al Marri made these remarks during a panel discussion moderated by media personality Brandy Scott, host of The Business Breakfast on Dubai Eye Radio. The session featured Mladen Vukomanovi\u0107, President of the International Project Management Association (IPMA), who noted that effective project management requires the availability of both technical competencies and behavioural skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Vukomanovi\u0107 added highlighted that the future of project management is increasingly shifting towards community-centred projects, where the focus goes beyond traditional methodologies to connecting vision with passion and strengthening behavioural and social competencies. He explained that the role of the project manager is evolving into that of an inspiring leader who engages stakeholders from the early stages, responds to community needs, and delivers sustainable projects. He added that project success is no longer measured solely by time, cost, and quality, but also by community acceptance, sustainability of impact, and long-term societal benefit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Juan Carlos Sahdala, Group Chief Planning and Project Office at DP World, stated that the approach to project delivery has evolved from a focus on time, cost, and quality to a more holistic model that places safety, sustainability, society, and the environment at the core of operations.
