Todd Pilgreen, Principal and Co-Managing Director Middle East, APME Regional Practice Area Leader –
Mixed Use & Retail Centers, Retail & Consumer Experience, Gensler

Todd is the Co-Managing Director of Gensler’s Middle East offices. With more than three decades of
global design and leadership experience, he oversees the firm’s strategic direction and operations across
Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Riyadh, driving growth, deepening client partnerships, and championing design
excellence throughout the region.

An accomplished architect and business strategist, Todd has led the design and delivery of complex
mixed-use, retail, and entertainment projects across North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, and the Middle
East. Before relocating to Dubai, he was Co-Managing Director of Gensler’s Shanghai office, where he
played a pivotal role in expanding the firm’s footprint across Greater China.

Todd also serves as the APME Regional Practice Area Leader for Mixed Use & Retail Centers and Retail &
Consumer Experience, where he has played a key role in shaping and expanding the practice across the
region. His leadership has been instrumental in delivering some of Gensler’s most high-profile and
transformative projects, including the Fosun Foliday Taicang Retail Entertainment Complex and the
heritage-driven repositioning of Shanghai’s Wujiang Road.
