Alan Akil is a mathematician and researcher with a strong background in artificial intelligence and neuroscience. Originally from Argentina, he earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Houston, where his research explored learning in neural networks. Alan combines deep analytical and scientific expertise with hands-on experience developing large-scale AI systems. 

As Lead AI and Machine Learning Engineer at the Project Management Institute (PMI), Alan plays a key technical role in shaping PMI Infinity, the organization’s AI-powered platform designed to empower project professionals. His work focuses on bridging research and real-world applications to advance the future of project management through AI.
