Dr. Tony Prensa is a globally respected authority in project, program, and portfolio management, with more than 40 years of experience leading transformative initiatives across industries and continents. As Founder and CEO of TP Global Business Consulting, he has helped organizations worldwide reposition their Project Management Offices as engines of strategic value, innovation, and organizational agility, work that has earned him recognition among the Top 10 Project Management Content Creators in the United States.

Before founding his own firm, Dr. Prensa held senior PMO and transformation leadership roles at FIS Global, Walmart, First National Bank Texas, Evertec, and Banco Popular of Puerto Rico, where he built and scaled enterprise PMOs and directed multi-country digital transformation portfolios. He is the creator of the PMO-Business Practitioner (PMO-BP®) credential, recognized by the CPD Standards Office in England, and a pioneering voice in the responsible integration of artificial intelligence into executive decision-making. His latest work, Lead With P.R.E.N.S.A.: A Leadership Operating System (June 2026), distills four decades of executive experience into a practical, repeatable framework for leading people, projects, and organizations through complex change. He is also the author of The Digital Project Playbook, co-author of Green PMO and The Chief Project Officer, a contributing author to PMI’s 2025 Project Management Offices: Practice Guide, and a PMO Global Awards judge for PMI (2024–2026).

A dynamic bilingual keynote speaker (English/Spanish), Dr. Prensa has addressed audiences at PMI congresses, IEOM conferences, universities, and corporate leadership summits across North America, Middle East, Europe, Latin America, and the Caribbean, and serves as a university professor of project management and leadership. He holds a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership, an MBA in Technology Management, and a Master of Project Management, alongside credentials including PMP®, PMI-PMOCP™, and ITIL® v4. Outside the boardroom, he holds a black belt in Karate and is an avid golfer — disciplines that mirror the focus and precision he brings to every stage. He resides in Orlando, Florida, USA.
