Dr Cesar Baena holds a PhD from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Upon earning his PhD, and after a stint in banking, Dr Baena became fully involved in academia as well as in consulting.

Dr Baena is founder and manager of Global Strategic Consulting, specialized in offering advice to companies in areas such as business innovation, leadership innovation, Project Management, transformative business models, sustainable strategies, digital transformation, internationalization, and government relations.

Dr Baena is Director, Board member and Strategic advisor for Platform Capital Investment Partners Limited, a financial advisory, growth market, and sector agnostic firm specialized in sustainable, inclusive, long-term growth and transformation across Africa, the MENA region, Europe, and Latin America. Dr Baena is also Director, Board member and Strategic advisor for Adamantine Energy, Africa’s first integrated energy company, and for Unicorn Hubs, a network of startup incubators operating across Africa, the US, Europe and Latin America.

Dr Baena is Dean and Director of Doctoral Research at International School of Management (ISM), a global business school based in Paris.
