Speakers of the 11th Edition

H.E. Mohammed Saeed Al Shehhi was appointed Vice Chairman of the National Media Authority, effective 1 January 2026, by Federal Decree issued by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates.

In March 2023, he assumed the role of Secretary General of the UAE Media Council, where he led the national efforts for the most comprehensive legislative update of the UAE media sector. This included the issuance of the Media Regulation Law and the development of modern regulatory frameworks and policies for emerging media sectors, aimed at advancing the media industry and strengthening its contribution to the national economy.

In addition to his current position, His Excellency also holds roles as the Director General and Board Member of the Emirates Racing Authority, as well as the CEO of ARM Holding Company.
Formerly, His Excellency Mohammed Al Shehhi held positions such as CEO of Dubai Design District, Executive Director of General Strategy, Executive Follow-up, and Technology at Dubai Media Incorporated, and Chief Director of Broadcast Services at Du. He obtained a bachelor's degree in electronic and electrical engineering from the American University of Sharjah and a master's degree in digital wireless communications from the University of Leeds. He has also participated in programs like "Editad" and "Young Arab Leaders".
