Speakers of the 9th edition (2024)

With a primary mandate focusing on culture, youth and media legislation and oversight, Her Excellency leads the ministry’s initiatives that are tasked with enhancing the environment in which the aforementioned will be allowed to develop, flourish and excel.

Her Excellency currently also serves as President of Zayed University, Chair of the National Commission for Education, Culture and Science, and is also currently serving as the Commissioner General of the UAE Pavilion at Expo 2020- Dubai. She is also a member of the Ministerial Development Council.

Her Excellency’s notable previous designations include, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development (2017-2020), Minister of State for Federal National Council Affairs (2016-2017), and Chairperson of the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Council (2016-2019). Other positions held include: CEO and Chairperson of the Board of Directors of twofour54 Media Free Zone in Abu Dhabi and Chairperson of the Abu Dhabi Media Company.

In her various roles, Her Excellency has and continues to participate and represent the United Arab Emirates in a multitude of regional and international gatherings, promoting a range of issues and initiatives while engaging the UAE’s global partners
