Laura Orestano (is Founder and President at SocialFare |Center for Social Innovation Italy and Impact Startups Accelerator as well as Vice-President of the first impact seed fund in Italy, SocialFare Seed (www.socialfare.org).

 Laura has extensive experience in social entrepreneurship, impact investing and social innovation ecosystems and has worked for large multinational corporations and institutions worldwide focusing on intangible assets, change management and impact innovation.

She focuses her work on social value as key element to generate sustainable innovation and economic value for communities and society.

Laura is co-author of UN-ILO Paper “Social Innovation and the Future of Work”, EU Commission Expert on Social Innovation, Action Aid International Board Member. In 2016, she was awarded with the WEF Prize “Iconic Trail Blazer Woman of the Decade” and in 2023 ranked among the top 15 Inclusive Leaders in Italy.
