Senior Project Manager, Orange

Yasmina Khelifi is an experienced project manager in the telecom industry.
Yasmina strives to build collaborative bridges between people to ensure the success of international projects. Her ability to foster collaboration across matrixed cross-functional teams has been a key driver of her success in delivering outcomes to her stakeholders. She relies on three pillars: project management skills, speaking multiple languages, and a passion for sharing knowledge.
Along with her more than 20-year career at Orange (the large French multinational telecommunications corporation), she has sharpened her global leadership skills, delivering projects with major manufacturers and SIM card makers in Europe, Asia, and now the Middle East and Africa.
Her work has enabled her to combine her passion for international project leadership with cultural awareness. A native French speaker, she also speaks German, English, Spanish, Italian, and Japanese, and is currently learning Arabic.
Highly committed to PMI's volunteer community, she shares her knowledge through webinars and blogs on projectmanagement.com, and is an active volunteer at the PMI France Chapter, the PMI UAE Chapter, and the PMI Germany Chapter.
She is also a volunteer correspondent for PMWorld Journal, where she interviews global project management experts.
Yasmina is the author of How To Become a Culturally-Aware Project Manager (BookboonLearning) and the co-author of The Volunteering Journey to Project Leadership (CRC Press). She has also written articles in Harvard Business Review.
She has participated in major project management podcasts, including Projectified (PMI), The PM Podcast, The Digital Project Manager, and the People and Project Podcast, to name a few. She is a regular speaker at global events like the PMI Global Summit in Los Angeles, Barcelona, and the upcoming PMI Global Summit in Phoenix. Yasmina holds a Master of Science in Telecom from a French Grande École. She has 3 PMI certifications: PMP, PMI-PBA, and PMI-ACP.
